Catch the wave of kindness!

As part of our Kindness Week initiative, students created “positive post-its” with compliments, kind messages, and uplifting words to brighten someone’s day. These notes were proudly displayed on our school surfboard—perfectly matching our theme for 2024-25, Surfing to Success!

Reading takes us places at SPES

Our students love participating in fun reading initiatives all year long, especially earning “passport stamps”! Over the summer, teachers picked books from the 2023–24 South Carolina Children’s Book List. Students who read those books can visit a matching teacher to chat about it and earn a stamp in their reading passport!
