Art: Ms. Weller

Profile Picture

Hello all!  My name is Kate Weller and I am the art teacher here at Stiles Point Elementary.  I did my foundations courses at the Columbus College of Art and Design.  I then attended and earned my bachelor's degree in Art Education from The Ohio State University.  This year will be my 7th year teaching and my 4th year here at Stiles Point.  Before teaching for CCSD, I taught youth art lessons downtown at Redux, a contemporary art center.  I have lived in Charleston for eight years now and have been on James Island for five.  In my spare time I enjoy racing sailboats with my husband and playing with our new puppy!  I also love to read and do my own artwork.  I am excited for another great year in the art room!
